into the hole of space

En efecto, creo que fotografiamos no para recordar sino para olvidar. Si la memoria es como el firmamento, cada foto actúa como un agujero negro, absorbiendo y colapsando todos los recuerdos.

deserto de areia e maresia no olhar

DESERT SAND

Fall back
All out of words
Too busy trying to save them for the truth.
So brutal the nights they are.
I couldn't sleep the streets were oh so cold.

To die, to be asleep.
We'll have the darkness to the roaring sea.
So foolish I know you are,
To take a walk and never so much stars.

And then I start to dream
But I can't read directions in my sleep.
The sun comes with the tide
And it's so beautiful I close my eyes.

deserto [pele] invernal

WINTER SKIN*
[clique para ouvir ... and sing to sleep]

Let's build a couple fragile of bridges together
Let's run across it and reach the sky
Let's run across and meet the next hazel sunrise
It's a sign of failure written all over these lonley skies
and our fortune has created time
Time of exsiting in a begining
so today the sun refused to shine

Sing me to sleep

Oh my darling, your eyes
refused to catch my tear

Sing me to sleep

Let's build a kingdom in the desert
and jump up and down when it rains
and jump up and down the next time it shall rain
There's only five winds owned by the holy gods
our gods that obey
the soil soaked from the sweat dripping down the weeping ol' willow

Winter is here
Winter is here

and she is glowing
with her light
embracing her strength with her final bite

Winter
winter
winter is here

a urgência e a noite do deserto

[é uma ficção sobre o deserto. não é o meu deserto.
mas existem tantos desertos como existem pessoas].

Your Soul and Mine*
[clique para escutar]

Standing in the ruins
Of another Black man's life,
or flying through the valley
separating day and night.
"I am death," cried the Vulture,
"For the people of the light."

Charon brought his raft
from the sea that sails on souls,
And saw the scavenger departing,
taking warm hearts to the cold.
He knew the ghetto was the haven
for the meanest creature ever known.

In a wilderness of heartbreak
and a desert of despair,
Evil's carrion of justice
shrieks a cry of naked terror.
He's taking babies from their momas
and leaving grief beyond compare.

So if you see the Vulture coming,
flying circles in your mind,
Remember there is no escaping
for he will follow close behind.
Only promised me a battle,
battle for your soul and mine.

* Your Soul and Mine é uma canção de Gil Scott-Heron no álbum I'm New Here.

In the desert you can't remember your name

A Horse With no Name*
[clique pra escutar]

On the first part of the journey
I was looking at all the life
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz
And the sky with no clouds
The heat was hot and the ground was dry
But the air was full of sound

I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can't remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la.
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la.

After two days in the desert sun
My skin began to turn red
After three days in the desert fun
I was looking at a river bed

And the story it told of a river that flowed
Made me sad to think it was dead

You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can't remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La, la, la,
la, la, la, la, la, la.
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la.

After nine days I let the horse run free
'Cause the desert had turned to sea

There were plants and birds and rocks and things
there was sand and hills and rings
The ocean is a desert with it's life underground
And a perfect disguise above
Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
But the humans will give no love

You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can't remember your name
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain

La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la.
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la.
